Every House of Nivedita ensemble is evocative of a signature aesthetic, one that celebrates heritage crafts with modern aesthetic. The House has perfected the cut & sew technique, where strips of rich fabrics are meticulously and invisibly sewn together giving the aesthetic and fluidity of a single cloth. These are rendered on everything, from bandhgalas to gowns. Dramatic shoulders from the 80s or dainty designs with floral cut-outs, we reimagine power shoulders in many avatars to deliver a statement with a blouse or a gown. Then, there’s our architecture embroidery inspired from the lines of Art Deco buildings to the arches inside the Palace of Versailles. Bespoke artisanal prints are our take on dopamine dressing for weddings.
